Government/DoD Auditor
Job Type: Full time

Category: Audit/Accounting/Finance
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Perform internal control testing; evaluate controls, and develop/document/implement emergent corrective actions

Review and recommend revision to existing process documentation
-
Perform substantive testing on personal property; document and implement emergent corrective actions; schedule, conduct follow-up, and close all personal property outstanding actions

Perform valuation of assets deficient of original source funding and supporting documentation
Education/Qualifications/Required skills:
-
Bachelor’s or higher degree in Accounting or Finance
-
DoD experience as a military service member, civil servant, or defense contractor a plus
-
Auditing, audit readiness, IT systems controls, program segment testing, and other accounting relevant accounting
-
Firm understanding of DoD Financial Management and Accounting principles
-
Familiarity with FISCAM and SSAE16 requirements
-
Familiarity with Accounting Conformance
-
Mission focused and able to multi-task
-
Track all project deadlines and follow-up on their timely completion
-
Strong organizer and analyzer
-
CPA and /or CISA certification is preferred
Security Clearance:
Candidates must be a US citizen and able to pass a government background investigation.
